Join us for the bi-monthly

NNBA Bluegrass Workshop/Jam

held at the First Congregational Church of Reno.

 627 Sunnyside Drive, Reno, NV 89503

 The jams are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. These jams are for players at all levels and experience.




NNBA Intermediate/Advanced Jam

at the Mountain Music Parlor


 735 S. Center Street, Reno, NV

Fourth Wednesday of the month 7-10 P.M.

 This is an intermediate/advanced jam. Pickers are expected to know the tunes and play up to speed.

 One bass player at a time (take turns).

 Beginners are welcome to play along, but perhaps sit outside the main circle or just come and listen.

Monday Night Volunteers


The Monday Night Volunteers is Northern Nevada's oldest and most respected bluegrass band.  These musicians have given tirelessly of themselves to Reno and neighboring communities, bringing music and smiles to listeners for many years.


The MNV will entertain you with plenty of stories, laughs and lots of good, toe-tappin' music!

Bluegrass & Root Music Jam Susanville

Monthly Jams are held at the Arts Council, 807 Cottage St., Susanville, CA on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. In the winter, hours are 1:00 - 5:00pm. Western Folklife Center Jam

Western Folklife Center, Pioneer Saloon, 501 Railroad Street, Elko

The Western Folklife Center hosts "Jam On!", a monthly jam session

for all musicians, from beginner to professional.

 Spectators are welcome, and the Pioneer Saloon will be open.

 Join us for some old-time, country, western, and Celtic music jamming

from 6-8 pm every second Wednesday of the month in 2016.

 Fall dates: Nov 1 - Nov 4, 2019

 Location: The Walker Creek Ranch in the North Bay coastal hills of Petaluma.


Registration has been filling up FAST for the past several camps.

All ages are welcome to sign up for fun, high quality music classes in traditional American music--mostly bluegrass, old time and swing--

with some of the country's best teachers from the Bay Area and beyond.

Anyone who loves this type of music can come to improve their skills and meet others to jam with. The ranch also offers miles of hiking trails, healthy and delicious food, and various lodging or camping options.

Walker Creek Music Camp is dedicated to enhancing lives through music.
