Joseph Martini wants all you folks to know that he is hosting his
Second Annual Bluegrass Jam and Chili Cookoff
at his house on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Upcoming event of great value to all Bluegrass Pickers:
The NNBA is sponsoring, with the generous help of
The Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts,
A Jack Tuttle Workshop the Second Week of March.
Just $30!!! Check it out!
If you have never attended one of Jack’s workshop presentations you are in for a real treat! Not only is he a fine fiddle, mandolin and guitar player, he is scholar on the history and musicology of bluegrass. He will be making two 3-hour presentations: one on the history of Bluegrass and one on the musicology of Bluegrass
Jack has presented these classes at the CBA Music Camp and Walker Creek Music Camp to excellent acclaim – they are always very well attended. He is the only instructor that is invited back every year to teach classes on Critical Listening and Music Theory.
Note to non-players: The Critical Listening Class is not just for pickers - if you want to learn more about Bluegrass music this class will help you make much more sense of the music and will make you much more (or maybe less!!) appreciative of what you hear.
These sessions would normally cost you $60.00 but due to our funding assistance from the NAC we are charging $30.00 – for both sessions - to help pay for Jack’s room & board and travel.
That gives us a total of 6 hours of learnin’.
Click on the Paypal button above to buy your tickets now (Remember to print out your receipt! It's your ticket)
or you can just show up and pay at the door if you want to.
