Festival Camping

Washoe Valley is a rural, area between Reno and Carson City.  I580 runs through the Valley.  Exit number 50 brings you to our Festival at the Bowers Mansion Park.

There are no motels in Washoe Valley, but discounted rooms in south Reno are available until July 23 - click here.  We have reserved the Group Camping Area on the north end of Washoe Lake State Park, and jamming is allowed 24 hrs/day here.  Fees are $15 per night for Nevada vehicles, and $20 for out of state vehicles

Other camping options include Loops A (with hookups) and B (no hookups) at Washoe Lake, and Davis Creek Park on the western side of the lake (details below).

  • NNBA Group Camp  NNBA has reserved the entire north Group Camping area.  It is all dry camping, and non-amplified jamming is allowed 24 hours a day. There is a nice Pavillion for gathering, electricity, lighting, restrooms, etc.  Showers are available in the Regular Campground, and your windshield tag will allow you to enter that area.   No reservation needed to camp in the Group Camp.  Self-pay station at the entrance.

  • Regular Campground - Loop A has 24 sites with electricity and water.  Loop B has 24 sites with NO HOOKUPS. No jamming past 10pm in Loops A or B.
